Social Justice Warriors Are Ruining the Left.



It is really strange. When I joined Google+, I thought I would be writing about liberal ideas. Now, for those skimming through my posts, they might mistake me for a far-right conservative. I haven't changed that much, but I have been getting more and more fed up with what a very large percentage of "liberals" appear to be in this day and age.

This group is often referred to as "Social Justice Warriors" (SJWs) and "regressive leftists". They are a group who will fight for almost any group that is a minority in the West (no matter if the group is conservative to the point of fascism). About the only minorities they won't fight for (and actively harass) are the minorities within the minorities...such as black conservatives (= Uncle Toms), Middle Eastern critics of Islam, etc. The SJWs are an extremely hypocritical bunch, and while far-right conservatives definitely represent a grave threat, this brand of liberal is no less dangerous, as they support the conservatives, racists, and sexists of any group that isn't white and male, and seek to undermine their own societies by destroying the freedom of speech and the notion that we should show civilized behavior even when we disagree with others.

I watch Dave Rubin (https://www.youtube.com/user/RubinReport) and have gone through a similar process of thinking to arrive at very similar conclusions. Regressives are destroying the left. Look at this video, where they illegally shut down free speech (without anyone doing anything to stop them). Now, even if you agreed with their points, do you think that was helpful? Probably 100 people would have seen that Milo Yiannopoulos talk without this. Now, probably tens of thousands more have seen Milo due to this travesty showing up on the internet...with most videos (rightly) supporting the conservatives. The conservatives are very clearly the victims here...so if the SJWs were going for a different victim narrative, they have failed.

If you say, "Sex and race are only social constructs and have no basis in science, and we must judge each other as individuals...and by the way, white men are evil.", you may just be a Social Justice Warrior. If you turn a blind eye to sex slavery in the Middle East, but worry about the way men sit, you may just be a Social Justice Warrior. If you make excuses for terrorists who kill civilians, and then fight against their execution because "killing is always wrong", then you may just be a Social Justice Warrior. And for my part, I will have none of it. The left is edging near the cliff, to be murdered from within. The liberal suicide, coinciding with the suicide of our societies, will not help anyone. Soon - if not already - the sanest voice left will be that of conservatives. And if you are a true liberal, you probably don't want that. It's happening, though...like it or not. So it is time to either fight against regressive leftists or give up on liberalism altogether.

The Islamic State has beheaded at least 21 Christians in Libya.

Whenever a Muslim brings up the Crusades, I have to laugh to myself.  Christians have done horrible things, including in later crusades against Constantinople and the Cathars in particular.  However, get this.  The Islamic State militants said, "Safety for you crusaders is something you can only wish for" right before butchering Egyptian Christians. Fighting Klanophobia I'm always hurt when I see bigots offend groups of people.  All too often, people paint a group, "the other" with a broad brush and stereotype them as being evil, even though the crimes that are associated with them are only committed by a tiny minority fringe element within the larger group.
